Pastificio Lenato has always used raw materials of Italian origin following a traditional production process. The -------------------------------------------, uses only raw materials from high quality, with particular attention to durum wheat grown in Sicily. The durum wheat is grown following traditional and sustainable methods, without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, in a vast territory of ----.
After the harvest, which began on -------------- and ended on ---------------, and storage at a controlled temperature, the grain is transferred to a third-party mill, for grinding; here they are processed up to ------------- per day, of wheat and the semolina produced rests for -- days.
The pasta is processed at the company's plant in -----------------------------------------------------, where it is mixed with pure water and processed for --- minutes with traditional machinery. The dough requires approximately ----- of semolina ---- of water. The extrusion lasts about -- hours, after this phase the bronze drawing takes place. Long pasta is produced using rods in iodized stainless steel while short pasta using a frame with food mesh.
The company uses only high quality machinery, which allows to obtain a pasta with a unique taste and texture. The pasta is produced in static cells of -------- for each shape, slowly dried for ----------- hours at low temperatures, approximately ------- in 2 cells dryer formed by 4 trolleys each. The long pasta is packaged by hand while the short pasta in a semi-automatic way, preserving its freshness and quality.

The standard packaging is from ------- and you can buy it in cartons from --------. For the packaging of the bio line we use ---, a biodegradable material made up of cornmeal plastic, while for conventional pasta we use --, polypropylene for food use.

Once packaged, the pasta is stored in air-conditioned rooms to counter the heat.
